The Presidents Rod

The President’s Rod was built as a feature car. The "feature car" is paid to attend a car show or event to help increase attendance. The President’s Rod was themed after President Jimmy Carter and his peanut farmer background. The President’s Rod was nicknamed the Peanut Rod. The President’s Rod was featured at car shows across the U.S. and Europe.

- Fabricated 1906 Carter Car

- Fabricated seat and side panels
- 1915 Ford fenders, running boards and windshield
- Solid oak custom cabinet and firewall
- Hand made solid brass trim
- Fabricated brass radiator
- Custom mixed pearl and candy orange blended with hand designed flamed accents all in Dupont paint finishes

Chassis and Suspension:
- Mild steel 2"x4" square boxed chassis
- Front modified Mustang independent tube with disk brakes
- Rear modified Jaguar independent suspension with inboard disk brakes
- Rack and pinion steering
- Cragar wheels
- BFG tires
